At Peggy & Philip B. Crosby Wellness Center (the Wellness Center), we respect concerns about privacy and safeguarding personal information. This policy is intended to help users of the Wellness Center’s services understand how the Wellness Center gathers and uses information, as well as the precautions the Wellness Center takes to handle the information users provide in a safe and responsible manner. This policy does not apply to personal information collected from you in other ways, or through websites or other electronic or digital means that the Wellness Center does not own or control. The Wellness Center reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy as appropriate. Please review this policy on an ongoing basis to keep informed about present Privacy Policy practices.

PRIVACY POLICY SCOPE

This Privacy Policy applies only to information we collect through electronic or digital means including our website located at www.crosbywellnesscenter.org, our mobile website, and mobile applications, or social media page located at

and other electronic and digital means of communications (collectively referred within this Policy as our “Digital Properties”). Unless disclosed otherwise, our affiliated sites are governed by this Privacy Policy.

THE INFORMATION THE WELLNESS CENTER COLLECTS

The Wellness Center collects information directly from the user (such as name, e-mail address, contact numbers, address, age, gender) only when the user voluntarily accesses our Digital Properties and enters the information voluntarily and in connection with user requests for information. The Wellness Center also may collect information following a promotional campaign or if a membership is purchased.

HOW THE WELLNESS CENTER USES THE INFORMATION USERS PROVIDE

The Wellness Center may use the information voluntarily provided to communicate promotions, newsletters, updates, special programs and information about the Wellness Center through e-mails, social media, mailings using the post office and possibly telephone contacts. If you do not wish to be contacted by the Wellness Center, you have the option to opt-out by requesting that you not be contacted. Click the unsubscribe link on the bottom of any e-mail communication you receive from us to be removed from the list. The Wellness Center also may use your information generally to evaluate the effectiveness of our website services and digital communications as part of overall demographic data and statistics.

The Wellness Center will not share or sell your information to outside third parties that are not affiliated with the Wellness Center. The Wellness Center may share information you provide with our business partners and affiliates as part of combined statistical data that does not include individually identifiable data about any user. Because the Wellness Center is part of a group of fitness and wellness centers that are managed collectively, the Wellness Center reserves the right to share any collective data, statistics and analysis with third parties. Any information shared, however, will not contain any users’ identifiable personal information.

HOW COOKIES ARE USED

A “Cookie” is text information stored on your computer’s hard drive by an internet web server. When you visit or use the Wellness Center’s Digital Properties, Cookies automatically store certain information related to your internet use. The Cookies the Wellness Center uses help the Wellness Center improve and streamline your use of our Digital Properties each time you return. If you want to avoid the use of Cookies, you will need to personally reconfigure your computer to do so. This is not something the Wellness Center can do at its end.

YOUR PERSONAL ACCOUNT

You will be required to set up a personal account to access features within the Wellness Center’s Digital Properties. This may require that you create a user name and password. You also may be required, as part of the account creation process, to share personally identifiable information as discussed above and herein. The Wellness Center strongly encourages you not to share your user name or password with others to help safeguard your account and information. The Wellness Center staff will not ask you for your user name or password in connection with any general communication to you. If you experience any problems accessing and using any of our Digital Properties, please contact the Wellness Center’s, Center Director, who will help solve your problem or who will put you in touch with someone else affiliated with the Fitness Center to help you.

Please be aware that the Wellness Center’s Digital Properties may contain links to other websites and resources that are owned, operated and maintained by third parties. If you click on one of the available links, you may be navigated away from the Wellness Center’s Digital Properties and taken to the site of a third party. The Wellness Center is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of any resources or internet sites owned, operated or maintained by any third party. The Wellness Center encourages you to read and familiarize yourself with the privacy statements available on any third party site, which you may access before providing data or personal identifiable information to any third party.

USE BY THE FITNESS CENTER AFFILIATES

The Wellness Center is part of a group of fitness and wellness centers that share a centralized corporate management, operations and support team. That team of people provides services to the Wellness Center and helps the Fitness Center operate more efficiently and effectively. The services the team may provide include marketing, maintaining and updating the Digital Properties, sending e-mail and mail through the post office, collecting and analyzing data, preparing statistics, and enhancing user and/or member service. A corporate team member may have access to the personal information you provide to enable him or her to perform these necessary tasks and further to better serve the Wellness Center members and Digital Property users.

As you are aware, the Wellness Center is located at 2005 Mizell Avenue, Winter Park, Florida 32792. Winter Park Health Foundation may have its own privacy policy that applies to user of their facilities and services, including this fitness and wellness center and its services. Please familiarize yourself with any Privacy Policy maintained by Winter Park Health Foundation, which supplements the Wellness Center Private Policy.

LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS

The Wellness Center reserves the right to disclose the information you provide if the Wellness Center reasonably believes disclosure is necessary to comply with a court order, a subpoena, a judicial proceeding, public health obligations or as may be required through any valid legal process.

By accessing our Digital Properties, you agree to assume any risk of use and you assume full responsibility for any potential problems that may arise to your personal property or information following that use. You acknowledge that the Wellness Center and all of its affiliates shall not be liable for any damages relating to your use of this site.

CHANGES TO THE FITNESS CENTER PRIVACY POLICY

If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes to the Privacy Policy on our homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy on our Digital Properties. Your use of the Digital Properties following these changes means that you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
