We’re excited to share this member success story with you! Stuart Sandefur loves to run and do cardio exercises. He is working with our certified Fitness Specialist India to achieve his fitness goals. We took some time to talk to Stuart and India. We hope this story provides inspiration for you to continue with your fitness goals.
CWC: How do you make time to exercise?
Stuart: Having set workout times to come to Crosby helps. On other days, I just squeeze workouts in whenever I can – usually runs.
CWC: How many times per week do you exercise?
Stuart: Usually, at least five times a week.
CWC: What do you do on days you don’t feel like exercising?
Stuart: If I haven’t gotten in my five workouts a week, and if I don’t have a workout scheduled at Crosby, I make myself run two miles. I tell myself “It only takes 20 minutes.”
CWC: What sort of workouts are you currently doing?
Stuart: I run or ride Peloton on days I’m not at Crosby. On Crosby days, I do strength training.
CWC: Do you mix up your workouts or keep them consistent?
Stuart: I keep them as consistent as I can.
CWC: In addition to running, you also love to fish. Do you think exercising would make someone a better fisherman?
Stuart: Yes, I think being healthy and in good shape helps in any activity.
CWC: What is a form of exercise that you think others should give a try?
Stuart: I think the spin bike is good; It’s a good workout and isn’t as abusive on the body as running or other workouts can be.
CWC: What is your current fitness goal?
Stuart: Just to get in better overall shape.
CWC: What forms of exercise do you think have been most beneficial in working towards that goal?
Stuart: Adding strength training to my workouts has helped a lot. I had been running/cycling exclusively and adding strength has helped both.
CWC: How was working with India helped with working towards your fitness goals?
Stuart: She has set workouts planned and knowledge I do not have. Her workouts are targeted toward my personal goals, and it also helps to have someone holding you accountable.

CWC: What is the best part about working with Stuart?
India: The best part about working with Stuart is his determination to accomplish his goals. He works hard during every workout, and we love talking about the next best read!
CWC: How are you going to help Stuart achieve his fitness goals? (What approach to exercise?)
India: Stuart is a runner and gets a lot of cardio-based exercise from that. To help him reach his goals, I focus on strength-based workouts the majority of the time and occasionally incorporate fun strength-cardio workouts.
