This father-son duo spends quality time together focusing on their health and fitness at Crosby Wellness Center. Check out this interview discussing their motivation and benefits of working out.
CWC: Why do you work out?
DANA: Initially my goal was to look younger. Now my goal is to be healthy and get stronger.
NOAH: I work out to build a better physique and be stronger.
CWC: What is your current workout goal?
DANA: To build lean muscle and flexibility. I also want to lose excess body fat.
NOAH: My current goal is to bulk up a bit.
CWC: What is one thing you learned about exercising that would benefit others.
DANA: I’ve learned that there is no substitute for drive and desire. Exercise benefits home and family life.
NOAH: Don’t move too quickly and eat right. Don’t take too many cheat days. It’s easy to get off track but you have to stay with it.
CWC: When did you start working out?
DANA: I started in high school at 14 years old while playing baseball.
NOAH: At 13 I played some soccer growing up, but I just started exercising consistently.
CWC: How do you make time to work out together?
DANA: I set my workouts with Noah as one of my top priorities.
NOAH: After I finish school, homework and chores I work out in the evening.
CWC: What is the best thing about working out with your son/dad?
DANA: The greatest benefits of working out with Noah is father/son time, directing him properly, controlling his weight and reps, and teaching proper form.
NOAH: Dana is my motivation, bonding with him is what pushes me to get my form right.
